With her diverse background and steadfast dedication to enhancing human work experience, Tami is poised to play a crucial role in supporting and shaping their clients’ human resource strategies.
Tami Barnes comes to Henriott with a strong educational foundation, holding a B.A. from Hanover College. Her unique academic background speaks to her well-rounded approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking, qualities that will undoubtedly benefit Henriott and its clients.
Over the course of her career, Tami has explored various professions, gaining valuable experience in customer service, sales, and business management. Her journey led her to discover her passion for serving and supporting people and organizations in various capacities, ultimately drawing her to the field of human resources.
When asked about her choice to join Henriott, Tami shared, “I was fortunate to work alongside Henriott with a local company. Getting to know their team and the way they served organizations in Lafayette, I knew it would be a great fit.” Tami’s firsthand experience with Henriott’s commitment to a client-centric approach solidified her decision to become part of the team.
As the HR Business Advisor at Henriott, Tami will be responsible for a wide range of critical HR functions. Her role will encompass talent management, employee relations, coaching and development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and training. Tami will work closely with business owners and management, providing hands-on and strategic input to optimize an organization’s most valuable asset—its employees.
Key responsibilities in her role will include conducting HR Business Audits, offering advice on HR Best Practices, partnering with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies, and providing thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution. Tami will also educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
With her extensive background and dedication to driving HR programs and talent initiatives, Tami Barnes is poised to make significant contributions to Henriott’s mission of delivering tailored solutions to meet clients’ evolving needs.
